COVID-19 Nagaland: 13 infections, 19 recoveries

KOHIMA, NOVEMBER 30: Nagaland reported 13 fresh infections and 19 recoveries taking the total of confirmed cases of COVID-19 to 32,122.

Positive cases detected today include 9 in Dimapur and 4 in Mokokchung districts, said State Nodal Officer for Integrated Disease Surveillance Project, Dr Nyanthung Kikon in the daily COVID-19 bulletin.
Recovery of 19 positive patients ~ Mokokchung: 15, Kohima: 2, Dimapur & Kiphire: 1 each ~ increased the recovered persons tally to 30,229 with the recovery rate at 94.08%, he said.
There are 133 active patients, of who 19 have mild symptoms, 4 are moderate and 6 severe while 104 patients are asymptomatic, he said.
With no fatality for the 8th consecutive day, the death toll in the State is at 696, of who 16 had co-morbid conditions, he said.
Altogether 1,064 COVID-19 patients have migrated to other States, he said.
Thus far, a total of 4,10,775 suspected COVID-19 samples have been tested in Nagaland. It includes 111,518 on RT-PCR, 88,553 on TrueNat and 2,10,704 on Rapid Antigen Test, he said.
A total of 12,86,982 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 739,201 persons as on Monday, said State Immunization Officer Dr Ritu Thurr.

Out of the total doses administered in the State, 60,979 are frontline workers, 15,999 are healthcare professionals, 209,253 are people above 45 years and 452,970 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
A total of 547,781 beneficiaries have received the second dose of the vaccine completing the full course of vaccination. They comprise 48,513 frontline workers, 13,509 healthcare workers, 172,913 people above 45 years and 312,846 in the 18 to 44 years age group, said Dr Thurr. (Page News Service)
