KOHIMA, AUGUST 2: Nagaland today reported 10 fresh COVID-19 infections and recovery of 19 as the number of confirmed cases surged to 35,803.
Wokha reported 3 infections, Dimapur, Kohima, Longleng, Mokokchung & Mon districts had 2 cases each and Kiphire and Zunheboto districts 1 infection each.
Nineteen more patients ~ Kohima: 9, Dimapur: 6, and Mokokchung and Phek: 2 each ~ recovered from COVID-19 taking the total number of recoveries to 33,432.
With no death during the day, the COVID-19 death toll in the State is 771.
The State now has 76 active cases, of which 37 have mild symptoms while 39 patients are asymptomatic.
Altogether 4,77,399 samples have been tested in the State so far.
A total of 18,63,297 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered in the State till August 1.
