COVID-19 Nagaland: 1 infection, 5 recoveries

KOHIMA, MARCH 6: Nagaland on Sunday reported only 1 fresh infection and 5 recoveries as the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases increased to 35,420.
The infection was detected in Kohima district.
The recovered persons tally is 33,124 with recovery rate at 93.52%.
The recovered persons for the day are: Dimapur and Mokokchung: 2 each and Kohima: 1.
There are 58 active patients, of who 6 have mild and moderate symptoms while 52 are asymptomatic.
The death toll in the State is 757, of which 4 died of co-morbid conditions.
Altogether 1,481 COVID-19 patients have migrated to other States.
Thus far, a total of 4,61,634 suspected COVID-19 samples have been tested in Nagaland. It includes 1,16,946 on RT-PCR, 95,892 on TrueNat and 2,48,796 on Rapid Antigen Test.
Meanwhile, the Health Department official informed that 85,502 teenagers in the 15 to 18 age bracket were administered with COVID-19 vaccine till March 3.
Further, a total of 14,71,628 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 8,16,179 persons during the same period, he said.
Out of the total doses administered in the State, 61,041 are frontline workers, 16,017 are healthcare workers, 2,20,993 are people above 45 years and 5,18,128 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
A total of 6,32,568 beneficiaries have received the second dose of the vaccine completing the full course of vaccination. They comprise 48,920 frontline workers, 13,606 healthcare workers, 1,88,634 people above 45 years and 3,81,408 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
Further, 22,881 people, including 3,418 health care workers, 17,388 frontline workers and 2,075 above 60 years of age with co-morbid conditions, have also been administered with the precautionary dose, the official said.
