COVID-19 Nagaland: 1 infection, 4 recoveries

KOHIMA, MARCH 22: Nagaland on Tuesday reported 1 fresh infection and 4 recoveries increasing the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases to 35,467.
Dimapur reported the only infection with 3 recoveries while Wokha also had 1 patient recovery.
The recovered persons’ tally is 33,191 with recovery rate at 93.58%.
There are 34 active patients, of who 1 has mild and moderate symptoms and 1 is severe on oxygen while 35 are asymptomatic.
The death toll in the State is 758, of which 4 died of co-morbid conditions.
Altogether 1,484 COVID-19 patients have migrated to other States.
Thus far, a total of 4,67,057 suspected COVID-19 samples have been tested in Nagaland. It includes 1,17,178 on RT-PCR, 96,257 on TrueNat and 2,53,622 on Rapid Antigen Test.
Meanwhile, the Health Department informed that a total of 15,71,373 doses of COVID vaccines have been administered in the State till March 21.
Of the total doses administered, 71, in the 12-14 age bracket, were inoculated with corBEvax and 90,373 in the 15 to 18 age bracket have got Covaxin.
Further, a total of 14,80,929 doses of Covishield vaccines have been administered to 8,18,473 persons above 18 years of age during the same period, the official said.
It includes 61,045 frontline workers, 16,017 healthcare workers, 2,21,387 people above 45 years and 5,20,024 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
A total of 6,38,356 beneficiaries have received the second dose. They comprise 48,923 frontline workers, 13,609 healthcare workers, 1,89,839 people above 45 years and 3,85,985 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
Further, 24,100 people, including 3,519 health care workers, 18,389 frontline workers and 2,192 above 60 years of age with co-morbid conditions, have also been administered with the precautionary dose, he said.
