COVID-19: 882 samples from Nagaland sent for testing, 872 received results are negative

Dimapur, May 12: Principal Secretary, Home Abhijit Sinha today informed that a total of 882 samples were sent for testing from the state, and the results of 872 were received, all have been tested negative. The results of remaining 10 samples are awaited.
In addition, a total of 11 samples were also tested by Truenat machines and all tested negative.
Today, a total of 6532 persons have been screened and a total of 86 persons are under Facility Quarantine.
Regarding the financial assistance in the form of cash grant to persons from Nagaland stranded, or in distress outside the state, due to the Nationwide COVID-19 lockdown, a total of 19464 applicants comprising of 14357 working people, 4933 students and 175 patients have been provided assistance till now by transferring the amounts to their bank accounts. Till date, a total of Rs. 7.57 crores has been disbursed for this purpose.
