Dimapur, May 5: Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha today informed that a total of 724 samples have been sent for testing from the state, results of 711 samples have been received and all are negative. The results of the remaining 13 samples are awaited.
Today, a total of 1938 persons have been screened and a total of 43 persons are under Facility Quarantine.
Sinha further informed that with the launching of the dedicated Nagaland COVID-19 Helpline Toll Free Number 18003450019 yesterday, the earlier existing health helpline numbers would no longer be functional and all the citizens have been requested to dial the given number for any COVID or non COVID health issues.
He said through this Helpline for COVID-19, the State has partnered with Project Step One for services relating to specific Tele-medicine. Services available in this helpline also includes-Telephonic Counselling in collaboration with All Nagaland Counsellors Association (ANCA), consultation on non COVID related health issues, COVID information Centre, issues regarding nCOVID Nagaland Visitors App and Grievance Redressal related to COVID-19.
The Principal Secretary further informed that the State Government is taking all measures to enhance the level of preparedness in its medical facilities, assisting its citizens stranded outside the state such as – working people, students and patients, and also migrant workers and needy persons within the state.
