Dimapur, May 16: Out of a total of 917 suspected COVID-19 samples sent for testing from Nagaland so far, 891 has tested negative while results of 26 samples are awaited.
In addition, a total of 25 samples have been tested by Truenat machines and all have been tested negative.
Giving this information, Principal Home Secretary, Abhijit Sinha, IAS said a total of 3943 persons were screened for COVID-19 in the State on Saturday. 1073 persons are under facility quarantine in the State.
Sinha informed that till Saturday afternoon, 3,679 citizens of Nagaland presently outside the State have opted to stay back at their respective places, and filled up the required form on the portal iamstranded.nagaland.gov.in for availing the one-time assistance for Rs 10,000.
As regard to arrival of stranded people into Nagaland from other North Eastern States, a total of 1,314 persons have already arrived till date.
He informed that it is mandatory for all returnees from outside the State to register themselves in the nCOVID-19 Nagaland- Visitors App and Aarogya Setu App. For any technical support, one may contact the toll free helpline No. 1800-345-0019. (Page News Service)
