Dimapur, September 13: A meeting on State Level Coordination on Mission Antyodaya & Peoples’ Plan Campaign on Gram Panchayat Development Plan was held on September 11 at the Secretariat Conference Hall, under the Chairmanship of Temjen Toy, IAS, Chief Secretary, Nagaland.
Commissioner & Secretary, RD, Neposo Theluo gave an introduction and presentation of the campaign and highlighted the overall progress of Mission Antyodaya survey based on the previous year’s records. He also presented the aims and objectives of the People’s Plan Campaign on GPDP which was followed by the presentation of Convergence Plan under MGNREGA.
He also requested the Line Departments to appoint a Nodal Officer from every Line Departments who will be the representative and the in-charge for communication and smooth operation of the campaign.
Temjen Toy stressed on the importance and need for convergence to the Line Departments while maintaining that the Line Departments should come forward and work together as one towards a common goal and its success.
The house approved the training schedule prepared by the Rural Development and accordingly stated training will begin with the training of the Nodal Officers from the Line Departments scheduled on September 16. (Page News Service)
