Cooch Behar Trophy: Nagaland beat Manipur by 205 runs

Dimapur, January 20: Nagaland beat Manipur by 205 runs in the Cooch Behar Trophy (2019-20) at James Long Stadium, Kolkata after bowling out Manipur for 91 in the second innings.
Resuming from their overnight score of 45/3, no Manipur batsmen offered any resistance as Nagaland bowlers ran through the Manipur line up to bowled them out for 91 in 36.4 overs.
For Manipur, Ulenyai top score with 20, while Vipul was the pick of Nagaland bowler taking 5 wickets.
Earlier, Nagaland were bowled out for 214 in its first inning and 185 in its second essay. Manipur scored 103 in its first innings.
Ranji Trophy
Bihar leads Nagaland by 78 runs in their Ranji Trophy tie here at Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima as play on Day-2 was stopped by bad light.
Resuming from its overnight score of 115/2, Bihar were at 244/5 when bad light stopped play after 38 overs on Day-2. Babul top scored with 95 and Rathour made 81. For Nagaland, SS Mundhe pick 2 wickets.
Earlier Bihar had bowled Nagaland out for 166 on Day-1.
Meanwhile at Vizag, Nagaland u-23 men’s team will play against Mizoram in a league match of the CK Nayudu Trophy from January 21 to 24.
The Nagaland women’s u-23 team is also leaving for Orrissa on January 22 for the plate group u-23 women’s tournament from January 24 to February 13.
