Cooch Behar Trophy: Goa in control at stumps on Day-1

Dimapur, November 29: Goa is in a commanding position at stumps on Day-1 of the Cooch Behar Trophy 2019-20 against Nagaland at 349/6 at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima on Friday.
Put in to bat after losing the toss, Mohit scored a century (104) and Kaushal made 96 after early hiccups of losing three early wickets.
With the wicket looking green, Nagaland pace attack took full advantage in the early hours taking three early wickets but the visiting team bounced back to take control of the first day’s play.
For Nagaland, Arjun and Rahul took 2 wickets each, while Hopongkyu and
Ranjen took a wicket apiece.
Earlier the match was declared open by Nagaland Cricket Association president , Kichengulie Rio, who welcomed the match officials and the visiting team to Nagaland and extended best wishes to both the teams.
The match will resume at 8 am on Saturday.
