Dimapur, July 29: In view of the recommendation received from the Chief Medical Officer, Peren for lifting of contained areas in Jalukie and Tening, DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier on Wednesday lifted the containment areas at Dobashi Colony (Ward 1) Jalukie Town, Ward 5 Tening Town and Mhaikam Village with immediate effect.
In addition, the DC also directed the Sub-Divisional Task Force to ensure that the contained zones are opened up immediately coupled with the initiation of intensive information, education and communication (IEC) activities with regard to COVID-19 within their respective jurisdiction.
