Consultative meet held with CSOs at Wokha

Wokha, April 24: NDPP Secretary-General and advisor to Chief Minister of Nagaland, Abu Metha held a consultative meeting at Wokha HQ with all CSOs to strengthen relationships and understanding the problem faces by all civil society here in Wokha on April 23 at VDBs Conference Hall.


Lotha Hoho chairman, Er. Mhondamo Ovung shared pressing issues on road connectivity, National Highways, ILP and apprised on the need and implementation of RIIN.
President Lotha Students’ Union, Ashanthung Humtsoe told that GHSS Wokha needs an urgent intervention with a major renovation to be done as the school is running without basic requirements and infrastructure.
Youth Hoho president, N Yanpothung Lotha said that government need to provide a platform with various infrastructure like music institutions, a sports complex in all districts.
While Lotha Eloe Hoho chairperson Zuchobeni addresses the need for Medical equipment in Civil hospital Wokha.
Abu Metha assured to address and disseminate the message about the grievance shared by CSOs.
While he told the civil societies that in all the district HQ there will be a park and sports complex for better nurturing of youths with talents.
He said that as citizens of a global village where we have to change our ways and thought and adapt to the fast-changing world reminded that culture and traditions have to be preserved.
He said that meritocracy shall follow suit to have reformation in today’s generation.
He called to come up with a solution by together helping and work for the welfare of younger talented people.


He talks about Quality Education, Quality Healthcare and Economy Sustainability.
Earlier, a party meeting was conducted and later interaction with HODs was done at the DC conference hall Wokha.
