NPF: The Naga People’s Front (NPF) has expressed grief at the demise of Phukavi Yepthomi (NPF candidate of Dimapur-1 AC) and Itokhu Chophy, general secretary (Admn) Dimapur Division on May 20.


“It was a great pained to have parted with two regional leaders from the party fold. Late Phukavi who died from Guwahati after prolong illness has contested the last general election from NPF ticket from the Dimapur-1 AC, the party will always cherished and remembered his contributions and sacrifices towards the party,” said NPF president Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu.
“Late Itokhu Chophy who was a staunch regionalist is considered as the backbone of the Dimapur Division died at Dimapur. He was an active and distinguished party leader who works with dedication and sincerity for the upliftment of the party in general and Dimapur Division in particular. The vacuum created by them will be difficult to fill.”
The NPF conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved families and prayed that the two departed souls rest in eternal peace.
NPP: The NPP Nagaland has expressed grief at the demise of Pukhavi Yeptho, former DMC member and ex-candidate Dmr-1 and Itokhu Chophy, general secretary (Adm) NPF Dimapur Division.
“They were both indeed prolific individuals who worked actively and diligently to fulfil their duties for the greater good of our society. It is certainly a tragedy to have lost such visionaries and leaders of the soil,” it said.
The NPP expressed heartfelt condolences to members of the bereaved families, and prayed that the departed souls rest in eternal peace.
KYKD: The Kulolau Yeputhomi Kuposhukulu Dimapur (KYKD) has expressed grief at the demise of Pukhavi Yeputhomi, ex-DMC member and ex-candidate, 1 Dimapur-1 A/C.
“His enormous contributions to the society will be remembered for many generations to come. His demise has left a void which will be difficult to fill,” it said.
The union extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that his soul rest in eternal peace.
NPF Phek: The Naga People’s Front (NPF) Phek Division has expressed grief at the sudden demise of Itokhu Choppy, general secretary (Adm) NPF Dimapur Division.
“…his untimely demise has caused huge vacuum and a great lost to our party,” it said.
The division prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
GPRN/NSCN: GPRN/NSCN has expressed grief at the untimely demise of L Toiho Achumi, Kilonser, son of Late Lhoxuvi Achumi of Vikheto village, Union Territory region who passed away on May 20.
“In his demise GPRN have loss one of the most dedicated and promising patriot. His admirable and persistent dedication for the Naga nation shall ever be cherished and treasured in the pages of Naga history,” it said.
The GPRN/NSCN conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family, and prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
NSCN (IM): The Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) has expressed grief at the untimely demise of Vikato Chophi, Leacy of NSCN/GPRN on May 20.
“He served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until his demise. The void created by his demise is deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in,” it said.
The NSCN/GPRN conveyed deep condolences to the bereaved family, and prayed for his spirit to rest in eternal peace.
NCSU: The Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union (NCSU) has expressed grief at the sudden demise of Ntsenthung Tungoe, vice president, NCSU on May 21, at Naga Hospital Kohima.
“He served NCSU with his best ability. He was very simple in nature hard working, dedicated, humble and polite person,” it said.
The NCSU conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved families and prayed that the departed soul rest in peace.
