DPC: The Dimapur Press Club (DPC) has expressed grief at the demise of Loho Pukini, father of Ashikho Pfuzhe, senior journalist associated with The Morung Express and DPC member on May 27 in Dimapur.
Late Pukini had retired as Registrar from the Department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection, Government of Nagaland.
The DPC conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members, and prayed that the departed soul rest in peace.
NPP Nagaland: The NPP Nagaland State has expressed grief at the sudden demise of Muluvoto Cukhamu, president, NPP, Youth Wing, 17 Chizami A/C who passed away on May 26 at his home town Sakraba.
“Though his body has left us, yet we shall ceaselessly keep his memories in our hearts and his commendable contribution to the organization shall never be forgotten,” it said.
The NPP shared deepest condolences to the bereaved family, and prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
TUD: The Tangkhul Union Dimapur has expressed shock and grief at the demise of AP Shimray on May 27 following a heart attack. He was 86.
Shimray, whom Tangkhuls fondly called “Awomeng” was an employee of the erstwhile Sugar Mill and one of the oldest settlers among the Tangkhuls in Dimapur. He had served as union president and advisor earlier. “His demise is indeed a great loss and a huge setback for the Tangkhuls living in Dimapur,” it said.
The TUD shared deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that his soul find eternal rest.
NFHRCC: The NFHRCC has expressed shock and grief at the sudden demise of Er.Howoto Chishi of PWD(R&B) Dimapur Division Thursday morning.
He has contributed a lot towards the historic Naga People’s project of the Foothills road since the beginning of the project in 2013, it said.
