Colleges to re-open from Feb 24 in Nagaland

Dimapur, February 19: After re-opening of schools for Classes 6 to 12 since February 8, the Government of Nagaland has now decided to re-open all universities, colleges and technical institutions functioning in Nagaland from February 24.
The reopening of higher education institutions was notified by State Chief Secretary J Alam, IAS in an order issued today.
The Government also issued SOPs for the reopening of varsities, colleges and technical institutions to prevent and contain the spread of COVID-19 for the safety of students, faculty members and others concerned.
Any violation of the provisions of the SOP will attract action as per legal provisions against the management of the institution, faculty, employee, student or visitor, as the case may be, the order cautioned.
