College students abstain classes

Dimapur, August 13: All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) with the college students successfully began its agitation with students abstaining their classes on Monday.
The volunteers were deployed in various institutions to monitor that the college’s students strictly abide from abstaining classes.
While pressing upon the state government for early address of its genuine demands, the ANCSU would continue with its agitation until the demands are fulfilled.
The union appealed and requested all the right thinking citizens to support the genuine demands of the college’s students.
The union also sought the cooperation of the college authorities and students.
Meanwhile, the ANCSU thanked all its volunteers, students and the college administrations for extending unflinching support towards the progress of the agitation.
The union also warned any person not to speculate and circulate fake news in regard to the ongoing agitation.
Any information or notice will be circulated through print media and college’s student’s executives, it said.
