Coaching for IAS aspirants begin


Dimapur, September 15: The coaching for IAS aspirants began today at Circuit House Dimapur, which was attended by 5 people today. Four more aspirants would be joining the coaching soon.
A joint initiative of Dimapur district administration, Dimapur Municipal Council and Police Commissionerate, the coaching aims at providing training to those aspirants who wants to crack the Civil Service Examination for IAS, IPS, IFS and NCS.
DMC administrator, Moa Sangtam said that it is a 3 months course, which aims a giving final touches focusing on quality and not quantity. He disclosed that a total of 9 aspirants would undergo training for 24 sessions, where resource persons would be those who have already cracked the Civil Service Examinations.
The classes would be held on Saturdays, while Tuesdays and Thursdays have been kept for study from 1.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
One can also borrow two books for a week for study, he disclosed.
DC Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel requested the aspirants to be dedicated and smart in order to crack the competitive examinations. He said they have to be professional and give their hundred percent.
Commissioner of Police, Limasunep informed that with the number of educated youths increasing, the competition is becoming tougher day by day, where one has to have patience and hard work.
He told the aspirants to acquire knowledge of everything, read newspapers, magazines etc and have a broad view of things, in order to face the competitions.
