
DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 13: The Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CNCCI) has appealed to those organisations and groups involved in forceful donations drive coercive selling of tickets, lotteries and Calendars to be humane considering that business community too has families to feed and also will celebrate the festive season as part of the society.
“As the festive season sets in the Global Pandemic which has deeply affected the business community for two years with many businesses closing down and and many incurring heavy losses. While sympathizing with them it is heartening to see the business community is slowly but surely pulling forward. However, the business community will take years to even achieve pre 2020 position/situation,” a press release issued by CNCCI stated.
It further warned that those involving in such unsolicited threats and coercive activities to raise funds that there are various Government and administration orders banning those collection and drives and the CNCCI would not hesitate to report those activities to the competent authority for stringent action.
Meanwhile, the CNCCI wished the entire business community across Nagaland and the State’s citizens a Merry Christmas and fruitful New Year.
