Dimapur, May 6: Chief Medical Officer, Dimapur, Dr Mereninla Senlem has directed all COVID-19 testing centres, both Government and private hospitals/laboratories, to insist for some form of Government approved identification such as Aadhar card/bank passbook/ration card, etc and also to verify contact details for full address and phone/mobile number of patients before testing the individuals.
Whatsapp mobile number or email ID should be requested to send the test result. The parents’/guardians’ details may be used for minors, the CMO said, adding this is to avoid any gap in contact tracing so as to control further spread of COVID-19 in the community. (Page News Service)
