Dimapur, April 1: Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today visited the quarantine centre at Meriema and COVID-19 Hospital at NHAK to review the preparedness for management and containment of COVID-19.
At Meriema quarantine facility, the CM encouraged the health personnel to intensify their preparedness and to be very careful in managing such pandemic especially in cities like Kohima and Dimapur. He reminded the official in-charge to look into the welfare of the working personnel at the health facility.
Rio also emphasized on maintaining a cleaner environment in and around the facility by painting the walls, planting trees, etc., which will only improve the neighbourhood in the future.
At NHAK, the Chief Minister stressed on cleanliness and maintenance of good drainage system in the hospital premises and reminded Department to put forward proposals for any requirement towards improving the health system at NHAK.
