Dimapur, August 13: Nagaland Chief Minster Neiphiu Rio released the first State Legislative Assembly bi- annual journal called ‘The Naga Assembly Chronicles’ at the sixth session of the 13th Assembly on Thursday.
Releasing the journal Rio congratulated the Speaker, officers and staffs of State Legislative Assembly for bringing out the first of its kind journal which will help in disseminating parliamentary knowledge and provide wide publicity of the happenings in the assembly to all the people. He further extends best wishes for the journal as it begins a pioneering journey.
The first edition journal hopes to broadcast parliamentary knowledge and providing a link between the state’s elected assembly and its various stakeholders. The publication will also serve as a chronicle of events associated with the Legislative Assembly and its secretariat. The first issue will contain brief write ups on the origin of NLA and profile of first assembly. It will also highlight comprehensive account of the activities of the present assembly session and other major events and activities associated with it.
