
Dimapur, May 17: Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has expressed grief at the demise of K Imlong Chang, former MLA, on May 16, saying in his death, the Nagas in general and the Chang community in particular has lost a tall leader and the vacuum created will be difficult to fill.
The CM extended deepest condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NPCC: The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has expressed grief at the passing away of K. Imlong Chang, former MLA.
“Late Shri Imlong was a peaceful person, and losing him at his politically prime age is an irreparable loss not only for the Chang community but for the Nagas as a whole,” said NPCC president K Therie.
The NPCC also extended deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.
Ex-PAN: The Ex-PAN haxs expressed grief at the demise of K Imlong Chang, who passed away on May 16 at his residence in Unity Village, Dimapur.
“He served the people with sincerity and dedication. His death is not only a loss to his family but also to the Naga people,” it said.
The association expressed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
ENNWU: The Eastern Naga National Workers Union (NSCN/GPRN) has expressed grief at the demise of former MLA, K Imlong Chang on May 16 after a brief illness at Dimapur.
“We have lost another great fatherly figure and tallest leader whose absence will be hard to replace,” it said.
The ENNWU conveyed heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
