CM meets Union Home Minister

Dimapur, June 12: Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio along with his cabinet colleagues today met Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh at his office North Block New Delhi.
In the meeting, the CM discussed the issues pertaining to second helicopter services in Nagaland, release of disaster management fund, modernization of administration on the line of police modernization in the State, early settlement of Naga political issues. He also emphasized the need for extra attention to develop ENPO region.
Minister S Pangnyu Phom also supported the need for special attention for ENPO as stated by the Prime Minister of India during his visit to the state.
Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton mentioned that the law and order situation and State Government functionaries are doing well. He also appealed for more financial assistance from the centre.
The Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues also introduced the newly elected Member of Parliament Lok Sabha Tokheho Yepthomi.
A release issued by PRO (IPR), Nagaland House, New Delhi informed that the Union Home Minister assured maximum co-operation to the State by the centre for all round development.
The CM was accompanied by Y. Patton, Dy. CM, S.Pangnyu Phom, Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Imnatiba, Advisor, Industries & Commerce, Kazheto Kinimi Advisor, Skill Development, Labour and Employment and CAWD, Dr Longriniken, Advisor Law and Justice, Border Affairs and Treasuries & Accounts, BJP State president Visasolie Lhoungu, general secretary NPP Sasank Ghatraj and newly elected Member of Parliament (MP) Lok Sabha Tokheho Yepthomi.
