Dimapur, April 20: Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio today announced special package for distress/stranded citizens outside Nagaland.
In a tweet today, Rio stated that stranded students would receive Rs 3000; stranded working person/professions Rs 4000; patients outside Nagaland Rs 20000 and daily wage earners in Nagaland would be provided essential commodities package through district administration.

Govt announces ex-gratia for state Govt employees
The Home Department (Relief & Rehabilitation Branch) has notified that any employee of the Nagaland State Government including any personnel of Nagaland Police and the Urban Local Bodies in the State, who suffers fatality due to COVID-19 while performing frontline duties, will be paid an ex-gratia amount of Rs. 10 lakhs by the State Government.
