CLCSU seeks assurance from NU

Dimapur, October 2: The City Law College Students’ Union has sought assurance in written from Nagaland University that it will take care of the expenses of medical bill and compensation in case of an outbreak of COVID-19 among students while appearing their semester examination.
In a memorandum to the Vice Chancellor, NU, the CLCSU president Lino Chishi and general secretary Ramdihei said, “Considering the seriousness of the pandemic we the students have decided in unison to request your authority for assurances in written form that in case of outbreak of Covid-19 disease among the students while appearing the forthcoming offline examination, the University will take care of the expense of medical bill and compensate if so ever.”
The CLCSU requested the VC NU to give his assurance in written form by October 4 before 12 pm “so that we the students may sit in the exam without fear.”
“Failing which we shall be compelled to take our own course of action,” it added. (Page News Service)
