Classic Club honours newly elected AIFF Executive Member Neibou Sekhose

Kohima, September 16: Classic Club Kohima today felicitated its former president and life member K Neibou Sekhose for being inducted as one of 14 executive members of All India Football Club (AIFF).
CCK life member & MLA Chotisuh Sazo speaking on the occasion termed it as a proud moment for all the members of the Club as one of their members is an executive member at the national level of the most important game in the world.
Congratulating Sekhose for adding another feather on his hat besides being the president of Nagaland Football Association, Sazo expressed hope that under his leadership football in the State will develop by leaps and bounds.
Acknowledging the Classic Club for honouring him, the newly inducted AIFF executive member Sekhose started playing football from school and village level. He also highlighted that he began social services at his clan level and gradually progressed to the State level and to the national level.
He conveyed gratitude to all well-wishers for the constant support.
Meanwhile, Sekhose clarified that he voted for Kalyan Chaubey during the AIFF presidential election for the uplift of football and not because of any politics or any other favour but solely for the benefit of the people of Nagaland.
Chaired by Life Member of CCK, Mezhüo Solo, the programme commenced with prayer by Associate Pastor of Khedi Baptist Church Kohima Village Kezhakietuo Belho while special number by Keneisenuo Sorhie enthralled the gathering and Club’s former president & life member Neisevituo Sorhie tendered the vote of thanks.
