NBSE files FIR at East PS
DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 5: The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has filed an FIR at East Police Station, Dimapur, in regards to leakage of Class IX Science 2023 Question Paper.
The NBSE stated that the Question Paper of Science in the ongoing Class IX Phase-II Examination 2023 was leaked on December 4.
It stated that the examination is conducted on offline mode, where the protected password of the question paper is given to the School Heads a day ahead of the examination. The School Heads have to download the question paper with the password from the NBSE portal and print the required number for their school.
For Science subject, the password was given on December 2, considering December 3 was a Sunday.
The NBSE further stated in the FIR that the information of the leakage of Science Question Paper was brought to its notice after the examination during time (9 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.) at around 11 a.m. by the Principal of Government Higher Secondary School, Dimapur.
It also mentioned the sequence of the leakage.
The NBSE requested the Officer-in-Charge to register an FIR and investigate the matter to help maintain the credibility of the conduct of the examinations.
