Dimapur, January 11: The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) in line with the North East Students’ Organization (NESO) will be hoisting black flags in and around the State as a sign to show resentment to the perpetration of State sponsored atrocities against the public and indigenous people over the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2016.
The State sponsored atrocities against the public and indigenous people over the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2016 include police firing on unarmed protestors in Twipra on January 8; attack on the ambulance by the police while carrying the injured persons; blocking of NESO officials to meet with the injured persons at Khumlwng Hospital, Twipra on January 11 morning and the police firing on protestors at Imphal, Manipur on January 11 injuring 4 persons while protesting against Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2016, said NSF president Kesosul Christopher Ltu and general secretary Imtiyapang Imsong.
