Dimapur, February 3: Chümoukedima Mandir Committee under the banner of Chümoukedima Hindu Society held its first meeting on January 31 in Chümoukedima Town towards the cause of Mandir Construction in Chümoukedima.
The programme began with a short prayer by Pandit Nandaraj Upadhyay. A brief history on the struggles faced by the Chümoukedima Hindu Yuva Nagaland (CHYN) and the achievements of Chümoukedima Hindu Society from 2008 till date was meticulously shared and deliberated by Pintu M Ghosh, the Working President of CHS. The prominent leaders present in the meeting were K K Paul, President Bengali Samaj Dimapur and Convenor, Non-Naga Communities Dimapur, Gopal Sharma, President Hindu Seva Samiti, Mahesh Kotecha, President Gujarati Samaj Dimapur, Alok Pareek and Pandit Nandaraj Upadhyay appreciated the unity and solidarity on the achievements of CHS’s vision of having a temple in Chümoukedima. They urged to uphold such spirit as the days are not very far off in accomplishing the dream of CHS. The leaders were unanimously ready to extend help in any manner to CHS to establish the long cherished dream.
The programme was chaired by Sujit Dey, Finance Secretary of Chümoukedima Mandir Committee and the vote of thanks was delivered by Raj Kumar Das, President of Chümoukedima Hindu Yuva Nagaland.
