Dimapur, December 6: Chümoukedima Hindu Society (CHS) held its 5th annual general meeting on November 23 at Chümoukedima Town Council Hall. The session began with the Holy Shanti mantras followed by 2 minutes silence to Late. Kelenguzo Kuotsu, ex-chief advisor of CHS. In the first session, ADC Chümoukedima, Kuzonyi Wideo urged everyone to live together in peace and harmony and render services for the upliftment and progress of Chumukedima district.
In the second session, Krishan Sharma, CHS president emphasised on the need for successful installation of donation boxes in every Hindu shop establishment followed by mandatory registration of Hindus in CHS.
The CHS passed 6 resolutions in the meeting which were strongly supported by the Hindu community and further committed to adhere strictly in letter and spirit.
