Dimapur, February 18: Chümoukedima Hindu Society in collaboration with Chümoukedima Hindu Yuva Nagaland organized a programme on February 14 at the CHS office premises, in remembrance to the brave souls martyred in Pulwama. Krishan Sharma, President of Chümoukedima Hindu Society shared a brief introduction on the programme and expressed that the sacrifices of our brave soldiers will never be forgotten.
All the members present including some public observed one-minute silent prayer and thereafter shradhanjali was offered to the brave martyrs by paying floral tribute and lighting candles. In continuation, Pintu M Ghosh, Working President of Chümoukedima Hindu Society also spoke about the sacrifices made by brave jawans. He further stressed that today our nation is strongly integrated and safe despite of repeated attacks by terrorists and other anti-social elements and gave salute to the jawans.
The programme was chaired by Prakash Chetri, General Secretary of Chümoukedima Hindu Society and the vote of thanks was delivered by Raj Kumar Das, President of Chümoukedima Hindu Yuva Nagaland.
