DIMAPUR FEBRUARY 14: Chisami, an old ancestral organization of Kikruma village, today observed its Feast of Joy at Phuluzu-zho, Kikruma village, remembering the pioneers and elders who had preserved the age-old traditional cultures and practices.
Following a gap of more than 2 decades, the festival was observed after some elders of the organization sat together ‘for the revival of good and healthy relationship among them’.
Addressing the gathering, Zumosa Kezo, a retired Deputy Ranger, reminded the people to live a truthful life by upholding the good practices preserved by the elders of the village.
A new team of office bearers was installed with Thiyiswuyo Kezo as chairman for the tenure 2021-2023.
