Kohima, April 18: CHILPAUFE design consultancy office was formally launched at Kapfo’s Building, Jail Colony here yesterday.
Gracing the opening ceremony, Yanpvuo Kikon appreciated the effort and commitment of CHILPAUFE design consultancy. Stressing on the need to create more job avenue for the youth, he also called for enlarging the scope to decrease dependency on others.
“Let us be realistic and face the practical aspect of life,” he said.
Such an initiative was a very important step, adding that people have to take up steps on how to reduce dependency on the government, he said.
CHILPAUFE design consultancy director Neikemhiezo Rupreo said that CHILPAUFE stands for Civil, Handicrafts, Interior, Landscape, Product, Architecture, Urban planning, Furniture and Electronics/Electricals.
With the motto “Design to Achieve,” it is a joint venture of technical alumni of Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab.
Basically the consultancy started with a group of six technical members including – Neikemhiezo Rüpreo, Rokovito Kotsu, Moianla Jathy, Vikono Zinyü, Niwe Mero and Chubalenla Pongen.
Rupreo said that the firm’s vision is to impart implementation from paperwork to on site construction with the view that many designers are compromised in the field which hinders the designer’s concept and idea.
He said the firm is committed to bring awareness towards building construction.
