Cheryl ‘split from Liam as she felt like she was raising son on her own

Cheryl is said to have split from Liam Payne after feeling like she was raising their 17-month-old son Bear on her own, according to The Sun.
Sources told the publication that the Girls Aloud star, 35, who parted ways from the 24-year-old in July, ‘effectively raised Bear on her own for most of his first year’, during the Bedroom Floor hitmaker’s time on the road.
The former X Factor judge is reportedly set to lift the lid on the pair’s two-and-a-half- year relationship in her upcoming music.
Insiders insisted that the cause of the pair’s relationship breakdown was due to his ‘constant travelling to promote his pop career in the months after their child was born’, and received support from her mum Joan.
Shortly after the birth of his son in March last year, Liam has promoted a series of his chart-topping hits, including Strip That Down, Get Low and For You featuring Rita Ora.
Cheryl, who has remained famously tight-lipped about their romance in the past, is reportedly set to share details on their relationship through her upcoming tracks.
The Fight For This Love songstress revealed she has two new singles in the pipeline during the audition process for The Greatest Dancer.
These reports come after Liam revealed he’s ‘fragile’ following his split with Cheryl last month.
The Wolverhampton native explained he felt as though he had broken up with the mother of his child ‘twice’ when they announced the end of their relationship to the world.
Speaking to Big Top 40’s Kat Shoob, he admitted that the past two months have been ‘difficult’ as he deals with their split in the public eye.
He said: ‘I’m feeling OK, I’m a bit fragile at times. No I’m alright you know, it’s been OK. Obviously there’s a lot of stuff I’ve still got to sort out with my life but…’
‘I mean that bit of it is difficult and you’re tryna like, you break up and like obviously we’ve broken up and then it was like a couple of days or a couple of weeks before we actually like put the announcement out and that’s the bit when it really hits home I guess.
Continuing: ‘But at the same point it’s like breaking up twice like, we already did this once and now I’m having to go through all of that again just because…’
Liam added that despite his fame, he still goes through all the same emotions of his adoring fans, especially when it comes to heartbreak.
‘You know, and I didn’t really expect any of this obviously and it’s er, yeah I mean, it’s difficult,’ he said.
‘I think sometimes people need to remember that behind all those statements and things there are actually people who are going through the same sort of stuff that you go through whether they’re famous, rich or whatever they are, it doesn’t really matter.’
Liam announced his split from the stunner in July after two years of dating, both tweeting: ‘We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world.’
The pair first met on The X Factor in 2008, when she was a judge and he auditioned as a solo contestant, then 14 years old, before he became part of One Direction.
He is now rumoured dating 20-year-old model Cairo Dwek. According to the Mirror, the singer met Cairo during his trip to the French Riviera over the summer, and started liking a stream of her posts on Instagram.
