DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 10: Whiskers CC, Vikings CC and Das Brothers won their respective matches on the third day of 1st Champions Trophy T20 cricket tournament organised by Nagamese Baptist Fellowship (NBF) sports ministry, Chumukedima village, at local ground Chumukedima town.
A press release from the organisers informed that Whiskers CC defeated United XI CC by 32 runs. Winning the toss, Whiskers batted first and set a target of 155. Their bowlers managed to restrict United XI to 122 in 16 overs. Victor was adjudged man of the match for his 45 runs and 2 wickets.
In the second match, Vikings CC defeated Dream Killers by 7 wickets. Winning the toss Dream Killers batted first but were bundled for 85, which Vikings CC chased down in 7 overs losing 3 wickets. Imocha was declared man of the match.
In the third match, Das Brothers defeated Lancer XI CC by 108 runs. Batting first, Das Brothers set a target of 169 runs in 19 overs while Lancer XI CC were bowled out for 60 in 9 overs. Dokina was declared man of the match for taking 5 wickets. (Page News Service)
