Dimapur, April 29: The Chakhesang Scholar’s Forum (CSF) was formally launched on Thursday at Pfütsero Government College, Pfütsero, and inducted its first set of office bearers.

CSF was formed with Dr. Zavise Rume, Professor at State Council of Education and Research Training (SCERT) Nagaland, as convenor.
Dr Rume informed that the forum was launched with the primary objective to provide a common platform and promote healthy interactions on academic issues, and promote academic excellence.
Through forum it envisages to share intellectual resources, create resourceful academic body,
Former Vice Principal of Pfütsero Government College and Advisor of CSF, Medozü Mero, said the forum can secure many good things for the community.
The office bearers of CSF will be headed by Dr. Zavise Rume as Chairman; Dr. Khrüvolü Keyho, Asst. Professor Department of Tenyidie, Nagaland University as Vice Chairman; Tavezo, Asst. Professor, Pfütsero College as General Secretary; Nuveta Kausoh, Asst. Prof. Dept. of Tenyidie, Pfütsero Govt. College as secretary (academic); Dr Rukulu Puroh, chief instructor, Centre of Cue Academy, centre of writing skills and Asst. Prof., dept. of English, Capital College, Kohima as secretary (journal publication); Wepekhro Wetsah, Asst. Prof. Dept. of History, Pfütsero Goverment College as Secretary (Finance); Arele Sakhamo, Post Graduate teacher in Tenyidie at Govt. High School, Razeba as Secretary (Statistics); Reyivolu Rhakho as secretary press and media; Asu Chuzho, Asst. Prof., Dept. of Economic, Pfütsero Govt. College as treasurer along with 18 other executive members.
In the second session, a panel discussion on relevance of academic subjects was organised. Dr. Khrüvolü Keyho, Asst. Professor Department of Tenyidie, Nagaland University spoke the relevance of Tenyidie as an academic subject of study.
Meanwhile, Dr. Khrolsoloü Teno, Associate Professor, Baptist Theological College Pfütsero spoke on Theology and its relevance to the society.
