CEO asks mobile providers to ensure network connectivity during polls

Dimapur, March 25: Chief Electoral Office Nagaland, Abhijit Sinha, IAS today requested all mobile service providers to monitor the connectivity throughout the state and take all measures to improve it.
In a meeting held today with all mobile service providers in the state, the service providers were made aware of the poll date and particularly from April 10 onwards, they were asked to ensure that the networks are up, and remain good during the poll duration.
Abhijit also conveyed that webcasting and offline videography will be implemented in about 450 polling stations. He pointed out that for ensuring the success of webcasting connectivity issue has to be sorted out properly.
The service providers assured that they will take all the steps to improve connectivity, and at their own level ensure that there are no glitches anywhere. (Page News Service)
