Dimapur, January 13: A-two-day State level orientation training for State Resource Group (SRG) on “Incremental Learning Approach” (ILA), conducted by the Department of Social Welfare with the support from State project management unit (SPMU) of Poshan Abhiyaan, Nagaland was held at Hotel Japfu, Kohima from January 9 to 10.
The orientation was attended by members representing all districts in Nagaland. The members included CDPOs and representative supervisors from each district along with 3 Swasth Bharat Preraks.
The master trainers included two members from CARE India.
The training imparted was focused on “identification and referral of sick newborns”, “preventing illness to avert malnutrition and death” and “prevention of anemia in girls and adolescents”.
Members of the State Program Management Unit (SPMU) of Poshan Abhiyaan also attended the training. The session concluded with revisiting on how to use and handle the training materials and modules, planning exercise for district resource group (DRG) training, post-test, feedback and overall consolidation.
