Dimapur, August 30: The Chümoukedima District Archery Association (CDAA) held a felicitation programme for archers who won medals during the recently concluded Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2022.
Thenuohelie Metha won 2 Silver and Vetavolu Rhakho won a Silver in compound category. In compound team category, both Thenuohelie Metha and Vetavolu Rhakho won Bronze. Thupuvoyi Swuro won silver in Recurve category while the team consisting of Thupovoyi Swuro, Teisovi Lohe and Vedeta won bronze in the Recurve team category.
Four archers from the association were also selected to represent the State for the 2nd North East Olympics Games 2022 to be held at Meghalaya.
In a short programme, the CDAA also presented cash reward to the players.
