Dimapur, March 26: The Catholic community of the Diocese of Kohima has extended welcome to Archbishop Leopoldo Girelli, the Apostolic Nuncio to India, Vatican Ambassador to India.
“The Diplomat of Vatican, Holy See would visit various Catholic Institutions in the State Capital and in Dimapur. On the 27th March 2022, the Diplomat of Vatican will visit Kohima War Cemetery, Kisama Naga Heritage Village, St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama which will be followed by interaction with Catholic leaders of Nagaland”, it stated in a press release.
The Archbishop will also attend the convocation programme at St. Joseph’s University, Sovima on March 28.
“This is the official visit of the Apostolic Nuncio to India (the Ambassador of Vatican City) to Nagaland. During this visit the Apostolic Nuncio to India (the Ambassador of Vatican City) will also be informed about the welfare of the Catholic Church in the State of Nagaland”, it added.
