94 lakh Unique Disability ID cards issued in India, just 9 in Bengal: Official data

New Delhi, June 6: Out of total 94 lakh unique disability identification cards issued throughout the country, just nine have been generated from West Bengal till now, according to official data. Unique Disability Identity Card (UDID) is a card to help persons with disabilities avail the benefits extended to them through various schemes. LSD worth Rs 10.5 crore found in largest ever seizure, 6 arrested

New Delhi, June 6: The Narcotics Control Bureau on Tuesday claimed to have busted a pan-India drugs trafficking network operating on the dark web with the "largest ever" seizure of 15,000 LSD blots in one operation and arrest of six people who are students and youngsters. LSD or lysergic acid diethylamide is a synthetic chemical based-drug and is categorised as a hallucinogen. Govt asks airlines to devise mechanism for reasonable pricing of air tickets

New Delhi, June 5: The government on Monday asked airlines to devise a mechanism to ensure reasonable airfares amid a surge in air ticket prices, particularly on certain routes that were earlier served by Go First. During an hour-long meeting of the airlines advisory group, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia shared his concerns about the steep rise in airfares on certain routes.
