Dimapur, December 4: To revive the dying indigenous game, the Department of Tribal Affairs organised the 2nd Edition of Catapult Target Competitio sponsored by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs at the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama on December 3.
A total of 18 participants representing the cultural troupe of Zeliang, Sumi, Rengma, Pochury, Kachari, Ao, Kuki, and Chakhesang took part in the competition.
The winners of the competition were Imnasunep Ao, Akumnungchet Ao, and Kamminhao Kuki. They were declared as the winner, first runners-up, and second runners-up respectively, and were awarded cash prizes of Rs 10,000, Rs. 7,000 and 5,000 respectively along with certificates.
