Career counselling workshop held at SASRD

Dimapur, May 30: The Counselling & Placement Cell of NU, SASRD organised a career counselling workshop on May 28 with the main aim to build soft skills among the agricultural graduates for personality development and achieving success in their career.
A press release informed that the programme mainly targeted B.Sc (Hons.) Agri. students.
In the first session, the resource person, Gonmei Aier, Trainer & Facilitator, Personality Development & Soft Skills, deliberated on how to build strong communication skills, body language and non verbal skills, develop a good CV, bio-data and resume.
She also presented the importance and techniques of good grooming and conducted ice breaker sessions on problem solving skills and team management. The participants were sensitized about techniques and confidence building for success in interview.
In the second session participants were divided into different groups and trained for group discussion. Further 12 participants participated in the mock interview session and feedback was shared for improvement.
