Career counselling conducted at Pilgrim school

Dimapur, June 5: A 1-day career conference was hosted by Pilgrim Higher Secondary, Kuda B, Dimapur. The conference was organized by the guidance and counseling cell of State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Government of Nagaland.
Dr. Zavise Rume, associate professor, Nodal officer SCERT talked about academic career and skill based opportunities. Career in animation, VFX and multimedia was highlighted by Atanu Moitra, Director (Ops) from Maya Academy of Advance Cinematic, Kolkata. Fr. Bosco, career councillor from Salesian House, Dimapur gave a presentation on the topic career opportunities in civil service. Operation Manager Anirban Mukherjee from Emporium India shared the various schemes sponsored by the Government of India to undergo job oriented course.
500 students from Pilgrim Higher Secondary, New Horizon School, St. Teresa’s School & Eden Higher Secondary School Thilixu along with their teacher in-charges attended the programme. No.1 NL Air Squadron (Flg) NCC, Dimapur put up a stall showing the pride, prospects & benefits for students on joining NCC and Indian Armed Forces. Sgt. D. Singh, Sgt. Sahoo along with NCC cadets interacted with the students. Orient Edutech/Make Over Academy, Siliguri also put up a stall & interacted with the students. (Page News Service)
