Dimapur, August 12: On account of International Youth Day 2020, Can Youth in collaboration Youth Empowering Space, Bosco Institute, Jorhat organized an online platform for the youth in the form of short personal video clips based on the theme “Youth Engagement for Global Action”.
The sole motive behind was to engage with the youth through their participation thereby giving out a message that addresses and highlight the issues that are prevailing among the younger generation and how to bring about a solution or cope with these issues jointly in order to let them be more responsible in both their personal and social life to bring about a Locally, Nationally and Global change.
Altogether 35 Youth participated in the contest to mark an ‘International Youth Day 2020’.
Reeme Deb from IGNOU University was declared winner and Khrorite Lasuh from Salt College bagged Runner ups.
Sashikumzuk Longkumer from Greenwood School Alichen and Binita Das from Scottish Church College, Kolkata respectively bagged the Can Youth Choice Prizes. All the winners will receive cash prizes and certificates. (Page News Service)
