CAN Youth conducts workshop

Dimapur, July 10: CAN Youth conducted workshop with youth of Signal Angami Village at its Panchayat Hall on July 9.
CAN Youth founder and Jenpu Rongmei enlightened the youth about skills and talents that go wasted and undiscovered within one while in search of Government jobs. He encouraged the youths of signal Angami village through conducting different activities related to capacity building on how to succeed in life by managing proper effort, skills and hard work. He also challenged the youths to come out of their comfort zone of blaming the system but to be self dependent and work for the sustainability of one’s life.
Various information were also shared on job avenues, entrepreneurs opportunity and upcoming skill training program through the support of different partners of CAN Youth.
While doing activities based on unemployment issue in Nagaland, some of the youths shared that Government should start a program where aspiring entrepreneurs can pitch their ideas to Government, bringing more private sector market and increase more development in tourism sector.
CAN Youth team were assisted by MSW interns from Bosco Institute Jorhat, Assam.
