Kohima, Jun 29: While the five-day dateline set by the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) for the State government to act on Judicial Inquiry Committee (JIC) report on Tuensang fiasco, the State cabinet today decided to appeal them to forgive and forget the incident.
Today’s cabinet meeting convened by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio deliberated on the demands of the ENPO and decided to make an appeal to them to forgive each other as most of their demands put forth have been fulfilled, said Neiba Kronu, Minister for Planning & Coordination and Parliamentary Affairs, who is also the government spokespersons on COVID-19.
State Chief Secretary, who is also Cabinet Secretary, will write and official letter to ENPO requesting them to forgive for the mistake committed.
He also informed that the Cabinet decided that the Health and Family Welfare department will also write an official letter to the ENPO on the issue. (Page News Service)
