Dimapur, March 4: With an aim to promote community participation and to impart holistic approach among the students C-Edge College NSS (National Service Scheme) and RRC (Red Ribbon Club) members on March 2 visited the Children’s House of Refuge (Orphanage and school) at New Showuba, which is also the adopted village of the college NSS. The orphanage and school is run by Yimso Yimchunger.
During the visit which comprised of the NSS and RRC members along with Dr. Chubatola Aier, Principal of C-Edge College, faculty and the student, there was active interaction with the children, such as exchange sessions of worship songs and interactive games among the members and the children.
The college also contributed in cash and kind and had a productive time with around 30 children at the orphanage and those studying in the school. The visit concluded with social work at the school. (Page News Service)
