DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 25: Business establishments in Nagaland will down their shutters from 6 am to 4 pm on February 26 (Friday) in support of the 1-day Bharat Vyapar Bandh called by the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT).
Pharmacies will remain closed from 6 am to 4 pm.
In Dimapur, the DCCI has directed the entire business community under its jurisdiction to down their shutters from 8 am to 4 pm.
According to reports, the KCCI has asked all business and commercial establishments to remain closed from 6 am to 4 pm.
The shutdown is limited only to commercial business activities and vehicular movement will not be restricted.
The CAIT has called for the protest to register the traders’ discontent at “glitches” in e-commerce and recent “draconian, arbitrary and critical” amendments in GST rules.
