Bump-free ride in Dimapur by December: Tongpang


Dimapur, June 22: Minister for PWD, Tongpang Ozukum today assured that the construction of roads in Dimapur will be completed by December this year and people will have a bump-free ride.
Talking to Nagaland Page on the sidelines of the inaugural programme of Jubilee Park and free drinking water booth at Super Market here, the Minister was optimistic by the ongoing status of road construction work being carried out in Dimapur and hoped that it will be completed by the year end.
When queried on the present status of the road construction projects in 25 sectors of Dimapur and whether it will take time to be completed, Tongpang said, “Specifically the city roads which we are doing now, the duration is one year. We have given the work orders last December, so we still have time. So by this December all the roads will be completed”, he assured.
When questioned on work specification and quality, he said, “Definitely the specification is good and the people are appreciating. So by December, I think all the earmarked 25 roads will be completed, and we will all have a smooth ride on this 25 roads”, Tongpang optimistically replied.
